collared dove for the pot.

This post shows the finished/removed breasts of the bird
I read a post some time ago about collared doves and how they taste. Having never tried it myself i managed to catch one pinching the peanuts off the bird table this afternoon. One shot to his head brought him to the ground with a thump and shortly after he was on the table ,ready for plucking and breasting
This is how he looked before he was plucked

Just look what he had in his crop sack the greedy beggar
Off came the wings, head ,legs and just moments later i had two nice breasts, washed and bagged up in the freezer
I will post how i cooked it and what it was like some time next week.
